CETI System, in collaboration with pre-press company, Blaze Creative, has developed what it claimed is a new low-cost system for on-line approval, flat planning and job tracking.
Responding to user feedback the company said it has re-organised the navigation and page content so that the user experience is more intuitive.
The system enables publishers, advertisers and pre-press companies to track the origination of adverts and pages through the production processes via their standard web browser with no extra software, said the company.
Production and editorial teams are able to upload pages, advertisements and copy instructions directly in to the system, as well as view pre-flight comments, download PDFs, approve pages and view a flatplan of the publication.
The system also logs the actions performed on each page and advertisement for reviewing at any stage.
The system operates on a web server at the production or pre-press facility and can integrate with existing workflow systems.
