The Checkprint Solution system has been installed at Rathbones' finance department in Liverpool with standardised cheque base stocks being provided to each of the company's other offices.
Rathbones has eight UK offices in London, Liverpool, Bowness, Bristol, Cambridge, Chichester, Edinburgh and Winchester.
Cheque runs are organised from Liverpool where at the touch of a button they can be securely infilled, personalised and printed out at any of the two main offices, said Checkprint.
Checkprint Solution enables Rathbones, which issues around 15,000 cheques a year, to retain central control of payments with one audit trail, whilts benefiting from the flexibility of the regional distribution of cheques.
Hinckley based Checkprint is a member of the Tall Group of Companies, which also includes Tall Security Print in Runcorn.
Rathbone Investment Management is part of Rathbone Brothers, which specialises in providing, through its subsidiaries, personalised investment management and wealth management services for private clients and trustees, including discretionary asset management, tax planning, trust and company management, as well as banking services.
It manages GBP8.4 billion of funds, including around GBP1 billion managed by Rathbone Unit Trust Management.
