Charterhouse Wins 3-Year Print Management Deal

A Charterhouse product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Nov 7, 2007

Long-term print management for UK retailers Ernest Jones, H Samuel and Leslie Davis is the subject of a new GBPmulti-million, three-year deal won by Charterhouse.

The independent print management company was awarded the contract by Signet Trading , the name behind the retail organisations.

Charterhouse said that there had been a lengthy tender process involving other print management firms and manufacturers.

A sole supplier arrangement has been agreed with the UK's largest specialist retailer of fine jewellery, requiring an on-site account team that will manage the production of all seasonal campaigns, including point of sale, direct mail, catalogues and brochures.

Stephen Gaunt, Signet Trading's brand director, said: "Charterhouse impressed us with its proven track record in providing large-scale POS campaigns and catalogue production.

As well as offering exceptionally competitive pricing it also showed evidence of an expertise in brand compliance, which is a necessity for a high street network of our scale." Charterhouse's board account director, Jason Hammond, commented: "This is a significant new account for Charterhouse and we are delighted to be working with Signet.

We were able to offer a perfect match for Signet's cost and branding expectations and look forward to becoming a long-term business partner for the group.".
