Water Soluble Film Is Uniform And Consistent
Clarifoil, the makers of films for packaging uses, has expanded its range of Clarisol water soluble films.
Clarifoil has responded by offering a thermal version of its Semitone film, widely used in conventional lamination processes to give enhanced effects and resistance to scuffing on products such as cosmetics cartons, financial reports and point of sale literature.
The company's introduction of the thermal option compatible with thermal machines also brings the enhanced effects into play for use on short run items such as restaurant menus, exhibition guides and concert programmes.
Functional attributes of the film also include compatibility with foil blocking and a 'dry to touch' surface finish.
The cellulose base of the film makes it compatible with paper and board for production, waste management and recycling purposes.
Clarifoil business development manager, David Aldridge said: "Qualities of touch and appearance are both known to strongly influence consumers in the beauty and luxury goods market.
The same distinctive benefits can now be applied to products which can be thermally laminated on small in-house machines".
The new Thermal Semitone film is held in stock by Clarifoil in master rolls of 1080mm, which are supplied slit according to customers' requirements.
Clarifoil produces cellulose diacetate clear and special effect films at its base at Spondon, Derby (UK) for printers, laminators and packaging producers worldwide for use on printed products and packaging for leading brands.
