Compostable
The Clarifoil cellulose acetate film for carton windows, print lamination and labels has gained the OK Compost certificate as a home compostable material.
The company said that the award of the OK Compost certificate follows testing of standard thickness transparent Clarifoil film The Clarifoil film already holds DIN EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 biodegradability accreditation, which was gained last year

Clarifoil is cellulose acetate film made of woodpulp from managed forests.
Approved for food contact, it is said to feature natural moisture permeability, deterring fogging and spoilage of window packs containing food products packed whilst still warm.
For decorative and anti counterfeit purposes, Clarifoil can embody custom logos and designs.
