The delivery of urgent, point-of-purchase (POP) materials to customers that include UK supermarket retailer ASDA has been fulfilled by same-day courier company Citysprint.

The company undertook the deliveries for POP producer, Bezier, with POP material provided to all 340 of ASDA's stores Since then Citysprint has begun to undertake deliveries and larger jobs spanning the UK, said the company

Bezier has 10 UK sites across Bristol, Poole, Wakefield, Leeds and Leicester, and the company said that it produces and delivers 265 million items, from leaflets to full frontage shop displays.

It is also the sole supplier to a portfolio of brand manufacturers and retailers, including Boots, Imperial Tobacco, Homebase and KFC, as well as ASDA.

Bezier is also said that it can take advantage of Citysprint's Courier Locator, with real-time map location of the courier doing its same-day courier job.

The information is available to view before collection, during the journey and up until the point of delivery.

Bezier can also share that information with its customers by emailing them a hyperlink to Courier Locator whilst it could also receive email, or SMS notifications about the progress of its jobs and access time stamped job audits, as well as electronic proof of delivery.

It is also said that the technology can also keep track of courier expenditure, with Citysprint's account activity reports.

Ian Carnazza, managing director of Bezier North, explained: "Just as our customers expect us to meet their high standards, we expect our courier service to be reliable, transparent and professional.

Citysprint ticks all the right boxes and provides great assurances via its technology, which allows us and our customers to track deliveries in real time on its website." The company added that because of retail marketing's nature, Bezier expects its courier service to provide an urgent response and adapt quickly to the demands of the environment on which it operates.

Citysprint added that it has a national network of 30 service centres.

Walker continued: "Having a large national network means Bezier benefits from our entire team working as one to achieve the speed and effectiveness of the delivery.

By keeping the work within the Citysprint network we can control the distribution via our technology, which the customer can interface with live.".
