Windows Vista Support For Management Software

All Colorgate software for universal large-format production, proofing, film production, photo and fine art are now available in the new 4.41 Version.

Colorgate said that a range of enhancements have been incorporated in to the updates of the platform-independent Productionserver4 centre management software, its expansion modules and the Colorgate stand-alone software.

They are claimed to ensure access to the latest industry trends.

The improvements include complete compatibility with Windows Vista for greater flexibility with operating systems, weaving modes in the printer drivers for Mutoh Spitfire, Mutoh Rockhopper III and Mutoh Osprey and a driver for the integrated spectralphotometer in the HP Designjet Z-series for measurements with Profiler modules.

There is also online help for Profiler modules to assist in creating ICC profiles directly from the application.

In addition, Colorgate has provided for proofing applications under the latest Fogra 39/40 printing conditions, together with full driver support for the Canon iPF series (8000/9000, 500/600/700) to create films using Colorgate Filmgate technology.

There is now an integration option for Screen Print Proof (SPPM) in the expansion of the Filmgate module for creating screen and colour-accurate digital proofs on suitable inkjet printers.

New 4.41 installations are now available at authorised Colorgate resellers.

Customers that already use the Productionserver4, or another Version 4 product, can download their 4.41 updates free of charge, added the company.
