Version 5.0 of Colorgate's Productionserver is claimed to be the first large format printing RIP system to employ Devicelink technology.

Version 5.0 of Colorgate's Productionserver is claimed to be the first large format printing RIP system to employ Devicelink technology.

The new version of Productionserver will be demonstrated at FESPA in Berlin (Germany) - hall 1.2, stand A540 - from June 5 to 9.

The system's media device synchornisation (MDS) optionally calibrates identical printers in the event of system-related or environment-related deviations to guarantee colour consistency following the upgrade from Version 4 to 5.0 of the software, said Colorgate.

In addition, a facelift of the user interface is said to allow for better workflow in the future, together with revised online help, whiteprint support and the optimisations of the container function and horizontal tiling.

There are also now three new Productionserver 5.0 packages to choose from to meet different user needs.

Ultimate provides the complete range of features, including the Profiler and Express Profiler modules for four printing systems.

Pro and Select, the basic version, is available by order starting on June 1 from any authorised Colorgate resellers, with deliveries starting on July 1.

Colorgate added that it is also offering current customers upgrades and a number of offers are also available.
