Mail communication specialist, Corporate Mailing Matters (CMM), has successfully completed the first full year of trading (July 2004 - June 2005) following the re-acquisition of the company.

Mail communication specialist, Corporate Mailing Matters (CMM), has successfully completed the first full year of trading (July 2004 - June 2005) following the re-acquisition of the company by former shareholders led by founder and chief executive, Yolanda Noble.

The shareholders repurchased CMM from Orchestra in February 2004, having sold the company three years previously.

On re-acquisition, the company was loss-making, had an inherited debt burden and suffered from poor customer retention rates.

After only six months, turnaround to profitability was achieved, and at fifteen months (June 2005) all outstanding debts have been repaid with the company delivering £1.6million in EBITDA while increasing revenues from the previous year by £600,000.

CMM now has an annual turnover of £18.5million.

'The past year has been a very exciting time for everyone here at CMM,' commented Yolanda Noble.

'We have successfully turned around the poor client satisfaction levels that we inherited in our core business of shareholder reporting for the financial community.

'This has allowed us to expand our offering with the recent launch of FastPost, our international mail consolidation division.

'This unit alone is already delivering several million in revenue, is making a healthy contribution to profits, and has over 25 clients.

'The relatively rapid turnaround of the business has meant that we are now in a position to look to the future and in particular, we will be looking at acquisitions that develop the company in related markets'.
