New Guide Offers Colour Scale Choices
Colour Confidence, the independent colour management company, has become UK distributor of the new Triangle Colorscale.
Colour Confidence said that the range provides customers with a comprehensive choice in terms of price and colour accuracy.
Colour Confidence's managing director, Geoffrey Clements, commented: "The launch of the Monitor Showroom has come as a direct response to the requests of our customers.
Many of them have been asking for advice on what is the best monitor for their needs and the Monitor Showroom will provide a good overview.
We expect this to become a valuable resource for many existing and new customers." The company said that before launching the Monitor Showroom, it conducted testing of all the monitors that it was being recommended to ensure they meet the highest standards of colour criticality.
To pass the benefit of that testing on to customers, monitors have been sorted in four categories.
The showroom features products categorised by manufacturer, by size, price and, most importantly, by colour quality.
The 'sort by quality' category is based upon a star rating system.
Monitors have been graded with three, four or five stars to assist the customers purchasing process.
A selection of other monitors that Colour Confidence said represent value for money, without an emphasis on colour accuracy, remain ungraded.
Simon Prais, the technical director at Colour Confidence, added: "We wanted to create an environment whereby customers could make an informed decision on purchasing a monitor.
The Monitor Showroom delivers that whilst offering people a wide range in terms of brand, size and specification.
As a business we remain focussed on colour management and this development simply strengthens our position as a single source for all colour management needs.".
