The company said that it performs competitive analyses of the different features of each item it sells, with appraisals included in the Pressroom Instruments section of the website.
Colour Confidence said that GretagMacbeth's Densi Eye, D19C and Spectro Eye, which it stocks, provides a variation of functions depending on the users requirements.
The new Densi Eye has proved popular since its introduction last year and it comes with functions including measuring density and dot and, as with all the products in the GreatagMacbeth range, it is easy to use.
The D19C has extended capabilities including dot gain and trap whereas the Spectro Eye includes features, such as Lab Analysis and Delta E.
The company added that both products are well established and have proven popular with a variety of users and represent industry standard accuracy.
Colour Confidence also carries X-Rite's range of densitometers, such as the 500 series.
All products utilise the same device, with different levels of software unlocked to allow additional features.
For users interested only in density readings the 504 is claimed to be a cost effective product, with the advantage that if the user's needs expand, they keep the same device and upgrade the software.
The new Platescope, launched at Ipex, is a plate reading device that is said to provide ease of use with what is claimed as an industry-first live video feed that enables users to view the area of the plate they are reading.
Colour Confidence said it expects Platescope to be available in mid-June and the company is now taking pre-orders for the products.
Colour Confidence said that it will be adding other manufacturers products to the Pressroom Instruments section of the website over the coming months.
