Colour Confidence Offers Pantone Colorvantage Inks
Colour Confidence, the independent colour management company, has today announced the availability of Pantone Colorvantage inks.
Printfix Pro is based around the new Datacolor 1005 spectrocolorimeter patch reading hardware and stand-alone software.
The new software creates printer profiles that support all RGB-driven inkjet, dye-sub, thermal, chemical and laser printers.
Spectro technology enables support of a range of media, especially third-party fine art papers and third-party inks, said Colour Confidence.
Printfix Pro, recently secured a TIPA award for best colour management system of 2006, is said to bridge the gap between high-end, expensive spectrophotometers and less sophisticated entry-level systems.
Geoffrey Clements, managing director of Colour Confidence, said: "Printfix was an extremely popular system for customers looking for an affordable printer profiling product.
As soon as Printfix Pro was released many users came to us enquiring about a potential upgrade path and we are delighted that we now have this available for our customers." To purchase the upgrade, customers need to visit the Colour Confidence website, where an upgrade form can be downloaded.
