Colour Confidence has launched a range of Pantone and Permajet consumables for digital workflows.
Pantone Colorvantage Inks are a family of pigmented inkjet inks designed to ensure optimal colour performance, said Colour Confidence.
The inks are said to suitable for applications that require the most accurate colour reproduction and the widest gamut such as photography, fine art reproduction and pre-press proofing.
To ensure the inks could be recommended, the technical team at Colour Confidence ran tests and found that the inks produce outstanding colour reproduction due to their wide colour gamut.
And with a typical 20 per cent cost saving on the equivalent Ultrachrome inks from Epson, they also provide value for money, claimed the company.
"Pantone was seeking new partners to distribute its Colorvantage inks.
As one of Pantone's leading UK resellers and the premier colour specialists in Europe, Colour Confidence was an obvious choice when it came to selecting the right channel for these inks," commented Paul Graham, sales manager at Pantone UK.
In addition to the Colorvantage inks, Colour Confidence also stocks the full range of Pantone monitor calibrators and its industry standard publications.
For some time Colour Confidence has been stocking Permajet's range of inkjet papers.
They are designed to meet the needs of the growing ranks of photographers and artists who use inkjet technology but need their prints to last and be finished in traditional textures.
Working in partnership with Permajet, Colour Confidence has now launched the new Inkjet Paper Test Pack.
By providing four sheets of paper, the pack gives users a chance to get a feel for a paper and they can build a profile on the chosen paper and also run test prints to ascertain the different qualities of the media.
Selected by Colour Confidence, the papers included in the test pack are designed to demonstrate the difference that a quality substrate can make when attempting to achieve accurate colour.
Priced at GBP10 (EUR14) plus VAT, the papers include Oyster 271, Matt Plus 240, Parchment 285, Portrait 300 and Fibre-based gloss 295.
Geoffrey Clements, managing director of Colour Confidence, said: "At Colour Confidence we feel this is an obvious development.
Our customers have been asking us to provide recommendations on consumable products and by selecting Permajet and Pantone as key partners we are recognising the quality of their products.
We aim to be a one-stop-shop when it comes to accurate colour and we will continue to respond to our customers to achieve this.".
