Developed by X-Rite using Eye-One technology, the Isis has been dubbed the world's easiest chart reader, said Colour Confidence.
With no buttons to press users load the chart and measurements start, added the company.
The Eye-One Isis is said to be designed for those needing to measure multiple charts or create ICC profiles in large quantities.
The system is available in a standard model for A4 and an XL version for A3 charts.
The standard Isis is claimed to read up to 1,500 patches for no-filter and UV-cut measurements in just under four minutes, whilst the XL can read up to 2,500 patches from a single A3 page.
In addition to its 'load and go' operation, the Isis also has a built-in vision system to automatically correct for chart misalignment, preventing media handling errors and misfeeds.
A barcode interpretation feature makes chart identification simpler and the Isis also recognises chart size and type without 'conversing' with the user's software, said Colour Confidence.
The system is compatible with all major high-end profiling software, including Profilemaker 5 and Monaco Profiler, added the company.
Geoffrey Clements, managing director of Colour Confidence, commented: "The Eye-One Isis is a major breakthrough for the pre-press and digital printing markets.
Its ease of use and speed of operation will save precious time in these high-pressure environments, whilst the error prevention features make the Isis suitable for inexperienced users, despite its sophistication.".
