Software Simplifies Macintosh Management

The Casper suite comprises five modules - Casper, Casper Admin, Recon, JSS and Composer - each with their own functions that, when combined, form a comprehensive management system, said Colyer.
Functions include simplification of new workstation integration, proactive software and warranty inventory, network image building, product and software management and upgrades, for instance, which are all designed to improve overall efficiency and maximise productivity of Macintoshes.
Jonathan Lyons, the sales director at Colyer Computing, said: "Nowadays, businesses rely heavily on the efficiency of their information technology, and any downtime can significantly affect production output.
Casper has been designed to make the system administrator's life much easier by giving them one central tool, enabling them to proactively maintain an efficient, compatible and fully updated network for Macintosh users." Colyer Computing said it will also provide installation of the Casper suite in to existing Macintosh environments, train IT managers and provide continuing technical support for the product as and when required.
The Casper Suite of software was designed by Jamf Software in the USA.
