Colyer Computing, a division of the Colyer Group, has been appointed by Silicon Systems to be its first channel partner in the UK, for wwWebflow.
wwWebflow, is customised software for delivering web-browser based digital asset management capabilities across the internet.
It is claimed to provide a complete solution for managing, sharing and distributing digital media through individually branded websites, offering instant access to all assets, and enabling quick and easy image repurposing.
In addition, it also offers a collaborative remote approval capability that allows users to view, annotate, comment on and approve digital files using the worldwide web.
Jonathan Lyons, the director of Colyer's Computing Division, said: "We are constantly looking at new technology that we can introduce to our customers that add real value to their business in terms of increasing production efficiencies and reducing costs.
The wwWebflow offers a range of such benefits that enable printers, creative and design agencies, production houses as well as internal marketing departments within large multinational corporations, to significantly enhance their customer offering.
With instant access to all digital assets, they can repurpose images, logos and graphic files immediately without having to rely on others to forward the required data.
In addition, the remote approval capabilities, facilitate a more streamlined management of multiple party proofing processes." wwWebflow is claimed to allow printers to set up individually branded and fully customised websites for their customers, which are accessible via a secure password.
Furthermore, with its navigation structure, it does not require IT specialists to configure the software, said Colyer.
Commenting on the appointment of Colyer as UK channel partner, Neil Dobson, the managing director of Silicon Systems, said: "Colyer's activity across multiple business disciplines and its consummate knowledge of the working practices and challenges facing the graphic arts industry, has earned the company an enviable reputation for providing its customers with innovative products and services that address their requirements both practically and creatively.
