Colourgen, the UK distributor of large format colour digital printing equipment, supplies and services, will be showing complete workflows at the Sign UK 2005 exhibition.

At Sign UK 2005, Colourgen will be launching the 54" Sign Coater system from Seal.

The liquid laminator applies a smooth, even finish to enhance and protect graphics from UV, abrasion, water and chemicals.

With no mess and no odour, the Sign Coater is easy to clean and maintain and requires no special ventilation, making it safe in any working environment, claimed Colourgen.

The company's stand will be divided into three working zones - pre-press, printing and finishing - with each zone showcasing new and existing products in an application-focused environment said the company.

Jeff Biggs, Colourgen's managing director, commented: "At Sign UK this year, we are planning to show the strength of our large format printing.

In keeping with the overall theme of the event, we will be illustrating our capability to deliver the industry's most comprehensive range of printers, laminators, software and consumables that fulfil key application areas.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see live demonstrations of the most advanced digital printing systems currently available across a variety of applications." The pre-press zone will demonstrate the pre-press and proofing capabilities of Colourgen's products in a workflow environment, including Epson's Stylus Pro range of large format printers and RIP software from EFI and Colorgate.

In the printing zone, Colourgen will showcase what it believes is the industry's most advanced large format printers for indoor and outdoor graphic reproduction from Seiko I Infotech and Encad with RIPs from Colorgate.

The printing zone will also incorporate an exhibition of consumables products including new inks and media for a variety of applications to suit large format digital printing requirements added Colourgen.

The finishing zone will highlight the new Sign Coater system.

Jeff Biggs concluded: "Sign UK 2004 was a very successful event for us and has helped us to achieve many of our targets over the last year.

We fully expect to achieve similar results following this year's event as people will be able to see the real future of large format printing technology in action.

As a company we provide our customers with a complete solution for all their digital printing needs covered by an unrivalled capability to service, maintain and support their requirements at all times.

Sign UK is our best opportunity of the year to demonstrate this to the whole industry.".
