Firm Re-Brands As Brand Management
Business Grows
UK pre-press and brand management company Corniche Fine Arts, is to be re-branded as part of a three-year expansion programme it has announced.
The company will now be marketed simply as Corniche, the name that is already well known, according to the company, because of its involvement with some of the United Kingdom's food and drink suppliers and manufacturers Founder and managing director, Shaun Newsome, said: "The original name has served us well but it was felt that we needed a new and direct brand that better suits our increasing profile in project and brand management in what is an increasingly competitive world of packaging graphics." Corniche, based on the Carnaby Industrial Estate near Bridlington in East Yorkshire, was last year recognised for its services to industry by winning a Queen's Award for Enterprise for its Dotmatch system, which provides a solution to the problem of accurately reproducing proofs for the flexographic printing process

Packaging Repro Key To Re-Launch Success
The printed packaging re-launch for William Sinclair Horticulture has been completed in time for this year's GLEE exhibition by Corniche.
Shaun Newsome described the award as one of the high points of the company's 26-year history and added: "In a way, it represented the start of the next phase of the company's development.
Our aim is to increase our turnover from its present level of GBP3 million to GBP5 million over the next three years.
To achieve that, we will continue to invest in the best equipment and staff available and that will mean creating up to 25 new jobs." And he added: "If there are opportunities to grow by acquisition we will consider every opportunity on its own merit but expansion will be a key word in every aspect of our organisation." Corniche believes it is becoming one of the top names in the UK brand management and processing sector, providing packaging services for nationally and internationally known food, confectionery and drink manufacturers.
Apart from that sector, the company has a client base across industry, including healthcare, pharmaceutical, horticulture and pet food.
