The new Veritas paper from Curtis Fine Papers is claimed to be an original concept in business stationery.
David Turnbull, UK sales director at the independent Scottish paper manufacturer said: "I am delighted to bring so much experience into the team.
Grant, Russell and Richard will be a great asset to Curtis, building, as they will, on the positive relationships our sales team has with customers over many years of trading in the UK.
Our customers rate personal contact very highly when it comes to supplier choice and this is something that we place a lot of emphasis on at Curtis.
Establishing regular contact with our merchant stockists is the first priority for the new team." Curtis said it has realigned its sales areas to maximise key account coverage.
Kevin Woods continues to support merchant customers in Scotland and the north of England, Richard Holdsworth will cover the Midlands and East Anglia, Russell Northedge takes responsibility for accounts in London and the south east and Grant Barrie will visit customers in Ireland, North Wales, the Midlands and the south west of England.
Each sales manager is supported by an internal contact based at the Curtis mill in Guardbridge (Scotland).
David Turnbull continued: "This sales team expansion coincides with the culmination of a period of intense product development at Curtis Fine Papers.
Some exciting new papers, including Veritas secure business stationery, are poised to hit the market and our job is to convert this excitement in to orders.
As Curtis expands in to new markets, business development is also a key area where our sales team will bring its expertise and experience to bear." Ian Rutherford and newly appointed area sales manager Steve Hughes, formerly of Antalis, will continue to focus on selling the company's range of security and converter papers, reporting in to UK technical sales director, Ken Thom, added the company.
