Graphical Papers Benefit From New Swatch Books

A Curtis Fine Papers product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Aug 7, 2007

The Classic, Conservation and Retreeve graphical papers now have new swatch books to highlight the characteristics of the Curtis Fine Papers brands.

The swatches are landscape format, just under A5 sized and wirobound.

Casebound covers, featuring a paper from the range laminated to white board finished with a matt protective film, give the swatch books a prestigious and tactile feel reflecting the quality of the papers, claimed Curtis Fine Papers.

Curtis FIne Papers' brand manager, Karen Batley, commented: "With the re-launched swatch collection we wanted to focus again on individual brands to allow us to highlight their different features.

Classic remains a family of 10 textures and achieved FSC certification in 2005.

Retreeve is an FSC-certified range of five textures and Conservation papers, used primarily for corporate identity work, are 100 per cent recycled." She added: "Having individual swatch books for Conservation and Retreeve allows specifiers to choose an eco paper that addresses the issues that matter to them." Ease of use is claimed to be another feature of the re-introduced swatch books.

Copy highlights the main characteristics of each element of the range at the start of every section.

Range details are given opposite paper waterfalls for immediate reference and each section is tabbed for quick navigation.
