Ctrl Publishing, a developer of Adobe Indesign and Incopy plug-ins and workflow solutions, has released its CP3 workflow system designed for Adobe Creative Suite 4.

The CP3 platform is designed to replace the software-as-a-service Ctrlprint 2 and is built using the latest Adobe technologies: Adobe Air and Adobe Indesign Server, CP3 Desktop, an Adobe Air application, replaces the Ctrlprint 2 web-browser interface with a sleek and lightweight module that incorporates document previews, complete project management and more.

All of the core features of Ctrlprint 2 are included in CP3 including version handling, track changes, automatic PDF generation, individual access levels and a high level of security.

Production of printed matter typically involves many people, sometimes from several different companies, in many locations.

As a result, a great deal of time and effort is spent on the editing and approval process, as well as managing the different versions of the publication.

Based on a content creation management system (CCM) that enables a powerful workflow solution, CP3 can increase productivity.

The editing and approval process of collaborative work on a document has never been editing and approval process of collaborative work on a document has never been easier.

With less time spent on administration users have more time to focus on the quality of the printed matter being produced.
