Award-winning Welsh printer Colourprint UK, has been nominated in three different categories in the 2007 Pembrokeshire Business Awards.

The Pembroke Dock-based commercial litho printing company has been nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award, the Innovation award and for Employer of the Year.

Under the charismatic leadership of Managing Director Karl Long and his 30-strong staff, Colourprint UK has established itself as one of the leading providers of high-quality print for a wide ranging clientele, from blue-chip companies to print management, design and advertising agencies, as well as being one of the Environment Agencies six preferred suppliers.

In addition the firm has undergone significant change over the past year, moving its entire production facilities from Cardiff to its Pembroke Dock unit.

Since news of Colourprint's nomination broke, the firm has been visited by local media, including Radio Pembrokeshire and local television.

Pembrokeshire has over 14,000 businesses, ranging from sole traders to multi-national companies and operating across a wide range of industries.

The Pembrokeshire Business Awards were established in 2004 as a collaborative initiative between PBI, the Western Telegraph, Pembrokeshire College, Texaco (Now Chevron) and Radio Pembrokeshire.

The aim was to acknowledge and reward the success of local companies by celebrating, recognizing and encouraging the thriving business community in Pembrokeshire.

The 2007 Awards were launched at a Pembrokeshire B2B Networking Event, where attendees had the chance to meet the organisers, sponsors and last years winners of the Awards and learnt about the real benefits of putting their business forward for consideration.

"We are delighted to have been nominated in three categories for these awards, which hopefully underline our significant achievements within our local business community and beyond," said Managing Director Karl Long.

The 2007 winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony which will take place on November 22nd.

Colourprint UK operates from its offices in Cardiff and Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire, producing a mixture of high quality brochures, company literature, leaflets and promotional material for print management companies, design agencies and end users.
