The fully automatic Topsetter F74 will mean an end to darkroom working and the extra speed the thermal system is capable of, producing up to 22 plates per hour, will ensure that Crowes' three Speedmaster SM 74 presses have the potential to accommodate an increased throughput of work.

The Topsetter will handle more than 95% of jobs at Crowes, with film output now being rare.

Initially the system will image approximately 1,500 Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) Electra Excel plates per month; this number is expected to rise as the system becomes more established.
