New Day Dawns For Blanket Technology
More than ever, printers must find ways to improve print quality, while at the same time, reduce cost, so for years, Day International said its R and D efforts have been driven by that pursuit.
There are many other powders available, which use inexpensive fillers to pack out the base powder and at face value they provide a lower price per kilo.
However, in reality with those powders there is less usage per kilo and create costly spray system maintenance because of blocked powder distribution.
For those reasons, with KSL spray powder there is a clear cost and quality benefit." The KSL range includes 27 different types of powder with micron graduations that are said to be suitable for all printing requirements.
CyanX said that every size designation has a narrow particle size distribution to ensure an accurate powder lay down on the sheet with low dust levels.
The S5/16 and S5/22 starch-based powders offer an additional refinement to further narrow the particle banding and further reduce dust levels.
The company added that all KSL powders are made from natural materials without any additional chemical changes, or additions.
Optimised production methods are employed to reduce energy consumption and pollution.
CyanX stocks the full range of KSL powders, including starch, calcium and sugar-based powders.
The company also offers free samples to customers wishing to trial KSL products.
