DCP Systems is to stage a series of four shows to demonstrate the new Encad Novajet 1000i and Epson 4000 digital inkjet printers and also launch the Banner Magic range of banner displays.
The shows will enable visitors to see first hand the capabilities of the machines and their new technology for digital inkjet output.
They will also be able see the recently introduced Agfa Grand Sherpa Universal Eco-Solvent Plus inkjet, which will see its first showing in Scotland.
Other inkjets in the Epson range will be demonstrated including the 7690, 9600 and 10600.
The events will enable printers and signmakers to see the very latest technology for indoor and outdoor digital print, including display systems, software and a range of consumables including media, inks and Giclee Varnish.
Venues for the shows are the Hilton Hotel, Strathclyde, Scotland on May 11 and 12 2004 and DCP's new showroom in Chapeltown, Sheffield on May 18 and 19 2004.
Encad's new Novajet 1000i is the first printer developed by Kodak and Encad.
With photo quality speeds of up to a claimed 150 square feet per hour, Encad has said it is the fastest in its class with features such as an all-new, 640 nozzle print head and an intermediate ink reservoir to maintain constant ink supplies, with ink bottles changed on the fly.
DCP will also be demonstrating Encad's new Qi inksets.
DCP said the based inks deliver an outstanding colour gamut and durability whilst pigmented versions steal a march on the industry move towards universal ink solutions for indoor and outdoor media.
No other pigmented inks, according to Encad, can match Qi's colour gamut.
Epson's recently announced Stylus Pro 4000 is also a new four colour printer for the POS, exhibition graphics and proofing markets and is said to be ideal for fine art and fine photography in eight colour format.
The shows will also provide the stage for the official launch of DCP's Banner Magic range of banner stands and media systems.
Seven stands initially comprise the display range designed for a range of applications.
DCP Systems, a member of the Guild of Fine Art, as well as the PPLA and PMA, specializes in digital wide format systems and the digital display, fine art and photographic markets.
The Sheffield based organisation has a portfolio of systems and equipment ranging from Agfa, Epson, Oce, Encad and HP inkjets, Onyx and Shiraz RIPs to specialist media including Hahnemuhle and Regulus, as well as Microtek scanners and finishing equipment from GBC, Seal and Keencut.
