DCP Systems opens photographic printing centre

DCP Systems is opening the doors to its brand-new DCP Centre of Excellence for the photographic and fine-art marketplace in July 2008.

Based at its premises in Sheffield, a comprehensive range of large-format Epson printers, scanners and projectors plus medias and inks, will be available for demonstrations, training and seminars.

Darren Walker, managing director, said: "We have invested heavily in additional equipment to offer a unique and interactive demonstration facility - the difference being our open-door policy to photographers and fine-art professionals.

"We want them to work with us and Epson at our Centre of Excellence to push the boundaries of large format printing and imaging to produce the finest results possible." Within the DCP Centre will be the full suite of Epson large format printers; from the desktop 3800 to the 64-inch-wide 11880.

The demonstration facility is available for all customers to utilise and will give them a chance to bring artwork, digital images, photographs, transparencies and other file formats to be demonstrated in-house and output on to any media or substrate using the latest Epson ink technology.

The facility has an open-door policy but the centre must be booked in advance to ensure the equipment is not already in use.
