DDJ finds Eastern homes for M.Y

A DDJ Graphic Machinery Limited product story

M.Y. Komoris Lithrone to perform in Iran and Korea.

Secondhand Komori specialist DDJ Graphic Machinery has found new homes in Iran and Korea for the two five-colour Komori Lithrone 540Cs that made room for the new automated six-colour-plus-coater Lithrone at M.Y.

Cartons, Gillingham.

One of the coater-equipped presses is already installed in Yazd, Iran, and the second press also with a coater is currently being shipped to Korean printer Shinan Co Ltd located in Yongin-Si, just outside Seoul.

DDJ managing director David Jarrett said the deals mark several 'firsts'.

"It's DDJ's first sale to Korea, the first Komori at the Iranian printer, and, closer to home, the departure of M.Y.'s very first Komori after 15 years of superb service.

When I took my Korean customers to see the press, a number of the M.Y.

people told me how sad they were to see 'K1' go.

The Gillingham plant was built on the performance of that press - the first of six Komoris ? and it was still printing a superb dot right to the end!".
