UK company Design Solution has launched the latest version of its Mailbigfile service.

UK company Design Solution has launched the latest version of its Mailbigfile service Aimed primarily at the print and reprographic industry, Mailbigfile Repro is claimed ease the receipt of files from customers

According to Design Solution, many print companies rely on receiving work from clients through the post on CD-ROM, or via an FTP upload process.

The company said that is alright but using the postal service means there is a delay in getting on with the job, whilst FTP involves the customer installing and configuring software.

Design Solution said that Mailbigfile Repro provides ease of use for customers.

The service can be integrated with a company's current website, which means all that customers will have to do is follow a link on their site and upload their file.

If the company does not have a site, a page can be set-up on the Mailbigfile domain.

The service uses 128-bit encryption, so users can be safe in the knowledge their files are completely protected and secure, added the company.

When a customer uploads a file, one or more members of staff will receive an email containing a link to the file for them to download.

Mailbigfile Repro costs GBP49 per month.
