Workflow's Record Time Ghent PDF Compliance

Dev Zero G's Printsure workflow system is now compliant with all Ghent PDF Workgroup current specifications (version 2/2004), which are based on PDF/X.

Compliancy was achieved in record time, said the company, by close collaboration between Dev Zero G and the Ghent PDF Workgroup, and as a result, the verification process benefited by gaining several improvements and refinements.

During the testing and verification process several enhancements were also made to Printsure, further extending its features, added the company.

Current features include the ability to measure average ink coverage of whole areas of images, rather than individual pixels, which the company said reduces manual intervention, and dynamic page size verification, providing a simpler process of managing profiles.

The latest version of Printsure now contains the latest certified profiles and is claimed to be the only product able to pre-flight check PDF files on-line, from within a web browser, without the need for the user to install or configure anything.

The company said that Printsure also has unlimited desktop clients.

Printsure is a workflow system for artwork submission, delivering pre-flight checking, both desktop and web-based.

Dev Zero G said that the product is already in use with some of the largest printing organisations in the world.
