Dev Zero G has released a new version of its web-to print portal Printsure.

Dev Zero G has released a new version of its web-to print portal Printsure.

In use by the industry's top printers in the UK, US and Japan, Printsure can now upload verified PDF files and other assets, including folders, straight from the Printsure desktop client to any FTP server.

Settings are still controlled from the central Printsure server and are updated live on the desktop client, without the need to download the software again.

Combined with the unlimited desktop client licensing and other features, such as job ticketing and scripting customisation, According to Deve Zero G, Printsure is becoming the industry standard to receive verified artwork.

The auto-correct module, which automatically fixes common problems within PDF files - on the client side - before they are uploaded to the server means all jobs are accepted and nothing is rejected.

That way, with Printsure, good files go straight through and problem files are fixed automatically.

The next major release of Printsure is also scheduled to support JDF workflows, making it one of the first web-to-print systems to do so, added the company.

"Printsure will be able to deliver PDF files in to a JDF enabled workflow enabling customer-to-press automated JDF workflows out of the box.

Pre-flight profiles, pre-flight reports, job details submitted by the user and other details, will be added to JDF files by Printsure and then fed to JDF workflow systems to seamlessly integrate Printsure with them, without the need for any bespoke programming," said Michael Dewhirst, Dev Zero G's chief technical officer.
