Dynagram and Fujifilm Electronic Imaging have signed a worldwide OEM agreement for FFEI to bundle Dynagram's Dynastrip imposition product with Fuji's Celebrant workflow and as an optional module.

Dynagram and Fujifilm Electronic Imaging (FFEI) have signed a worldwide OEM agreement for FFEI to bundle Dynagram's Dynastrip imposition product with Fuji's Celebrant workflow and as an optional module with its Celebrant workflow RIP.

Celebrant is a modular product range that Fuji believes offers maximum flexibility for prepress departments to expand as their businesses grow.

The company believes that combined with FFEI's output devices, Celebrant will accelerate turnaround times and reduce production costs.

Dynagram say that Dynastrip is a suite of digital imposition solutions developed to meet the entire range of imposition needs, from complete and flexible imposition solutions to specialised imposition jobs.

They claim that Dynastrip's integration with the Celebrant workflow and RIP should afford users sophisticated imposition capabilities, such as custom layouts, fast imposition generation, automated document lists, soft proofing and flexible output profiles.

"FFEI have been working closely with Dynagram for several years, and this announcement solidifies the relationship between the two organisations" said John Davies, FFEI's software business manager.

"The combination of Celebrant and Dynastrip has been very successful for many of our customers around the world, and we are now able to offer these products as a bundled solution to all of our customers, he added.

Francois Guerard, president of Dynagram, commented: "Our OEM agreement with FFEI attests to a solid partnership between our two organisations, from both a development and business perspective.

We are committed to strengthening the bind between imposition and the entire workflow process in order to enhance prepress productivity." FFEI is the only manufacturer of electronic prepress equipment for Fujifilm outside of Japan and employs 380 people at its head office in Hemel Hempstead and at its manufacturing plant in Peterborough.

FFEI distributes its prepress products to the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East and Africa via Fujifilm subsidiaries and third party distributors.
