Dynagram, the digital imposition specialist has announced it plans for Drupa 2004.

Dynagram, the digital imposition specialist has announced it plans for Drupa 2004 Its stand - Hall 9, Stand A74-4 - will display Dynastrip, its high-end imposition system, with JDF capabilities, as well as its JDF integration with major workflow providers

Also featured will be Inposition 6.1, the Quark Xtension that will be compatible with the latest version of QuarkXPress, 6.1.

Dynagram has actively and collaboratively participated in the CIP4 organization and has formed OEM partnerships or worked closely with the R and D teams of industry pre-press manufacturers to ensure maximum JDF compatibility between systems.

It has also set up true implementations of JDF pre-press.

The company said that tighter JDF compatibility is now available for Agfa's Apogee X, Artwork System's Odystar, Fujifilm Electronic Imaging's Celebrant, Dalim Mistral, RAMpage 9 Norm, Xitron's Xenith Extreme and Xiflow and Global Graphics' Harlequin RIP with JDF Enabler.

Dynastrip is also certified with Apogee X, Agfa's pre-press workflow based on PDF, JDF, and digital film.

Apogee X encompasses the entire pre-press workflow, bringing new productivity to work centres, new capabilities to pre-press professionals, and new efficiency to key business processes, claimed Dynagram.

The company has teamed up with FFEI and MAN Roland to deliver a seamless JDF imposition workflow aimed at both B1 and B2 commercial printers.

The practical workflow will be exhibited on the Dynagram and FFEI stands.

The workflow will combine the CelebraNT workflow, Dynagram's Dynastrip imposition tool as well as MAN Roland's Pecom, the flexible, modular, digital production system.

The JDF workflow will be on display in the FFEI stand - Hall 5, Stand A01.

Dynagram is also participating in a joint development project with Xitron and Global Graphics to set up a practical JDF workflow.

The complete workflow can be seen at the Xitron stand - Hall 7, Stand A1.

Dynagram and its network of pre-press partners will be demonstrating the integration of Dynastrip within workflow-specific environments.

Dynagram's OEM partnership with Artwork Systems has led to automated imposition within Odystar, the integrated system for PDF creation and production, which is said to also give new life to legacy RIPs and workflow systems, transforming them into PDF 1.5 compliant systems.

Dynagram has also announced that information on its systems can be found at the Dynagram stand as well as those of AGFA, Apple, Artwork Systems, Dalim Software, Electronics For Imaging (EFI), Fujifilm Electronic Imaging (FFEI), Global Graphics and Xitron.
