Dalim Software and Dynagram have announced JDF compatibility between Dynagram's flagship imposition software, Dynastrip and Dalim Software's Mistral and Printempo.

Dalim Software, the suppliers of large-scale production systems for printers and publishers and Dynagram, the digital imposition specialist have announced JDF compatibility between Dynagram's flagship imposition software, Dynastrip and Dalim Software's print production and process management applications Mistral and Printempo.

At Drupa, Dalim Software is in Hall 9, Stand B62 and Dynagram in Hall 9, Stand A74-4.

"The seamless interoperability between Dynastrip and Dalim Software's products increases both choice and value to companies looking for a completely integrated print production environment," said Dalim Software's product manager, Stephane Georges.

Francois Guerard, president of Dynagram, added: "Our partnership with Dynagram is a natural development of our continuing mission to offer the most advanced, integrated media production solutions available.

Dalim and Dynagram have closely collaborated over the past years in ensuring optimum inter-operability with our solutions.

The latest JDF integration between our products is a natural segue of this close relationship." Dynastrip is a standalone digital imposition suite developed to meet a range of needs, whilst integrating into major workflows such as Dalim's Mistral and Printempo.

It also offers JDF for workflows adhering to the new JDF standard and is flexible native PDF imposition software that, combined with any PDF-RIP, can become a cost-effective and highly flexible PDF workflow, according to Dynagram.

Mistral is a JDF-compliant web-based common electronic submission interface and print production management system for tracking, administration, assembly, correction and approval of publishable material.

It allows all parties involved in the development of print projects to have a single, common electronic interface to receive information on the development of the project in real time, from the convenience of a web browser.

Dalim's Printempo is a browser-based JDF-enabled print production system that can be used by a printer using any common web browser, on any client platform, to monitor the status of the production of pages and trigger actions such as the generation of plates or proofs, said the company.

Both Mistral and Printempo import the JDF imposition templates from Dynastrip.
