Dynagram has launched Dynastrip 4.4, the latest version of its imposition software.

Dynagram has launched Dynastrip 4.4, the latest version of its imposition software.

Dynastrip is compatibile with OS X Tiger, Apple's most advanced operating system, to enable Mac users to benefit from the latest features Tiger has to offer in conjunction with the imposition software.

Dynastrip 4.4 also supports Adobe Acrobat 7, Adobe Indesign CS, Adobe Illustrator CS and QuarkXpress 6.5, as well as other application versions, said Dynamgram.

Incorporating enhancements to its Preps template import function, Dynastrip 4.4 gives pre-press departments the freedom to benefit from imposition technology, whilst remaining with their preferred workflow provider.

Users can now import all signature types as well as most Preps marks and objects and an added benefit is that Dynastrip 4.4 can also import Preps templates generated from Creo's Synapse Upfront, claimed the company.

Dynastrip 4.4 now also supports SMB file services network protocols, allowing users to benefit from the increased speed and performance of their preferred workflows.

Other enhancements to the latest version of Dynastrip include vertical creep options, improved tumble pagination for perfecting presses and customisable job names for PJTF or JDF output, said Dynagram.

Tracey-Lee Batsford, the general manager for Dynagram Prepress Solutions, said: "A new era in imposition has begun.

Pre-press professionals need not be chained down to a specific manufacturer in order to benefit from sophisticated imposition capabilities.

They have the freedom to choose any workflow, equipment and consumable provider they prefer, without the worry of proprietary integration of their imposition software.

With Dynastrip 4.4, printers are the sole masters of their production environments.".
