An OEM distribution agreement with Lucid Dream Software has been completed by Dynagram for the latter's InpO2 imposition products.

Under the agreement, Lucid Dream Software will offer the InpO2 imposition product range along with its Taskforce RIP and workflow system InpO2 Standard Edition and InpO2 ATOM will be available immediately from Lucid Dream Software as part of its Taskforce Workflow system, including the entry level product, Taskforce Lite for Kimoto Technology and the Kimotosetter

All InpO2 editions are available for the Macintosh and Windows platforms and are compatible with Acrobat 8.0, said Dynagram.

Both companies will be exhibiting at Drupa 2008 when Lucid Dream Software will show the Taskforce Workflow on the Kimoto stand found in hall 4, stand A41, whilst Dynagram will be found in the Canadian Pavilion, in hall 9, on stand E61, as well as in the JDF Experience Parc, in hall 7, stand 7.0J.

The Taskforce Workflow is said to be a system that includes on-line job submission, ripping, trapping, proofing and now imposition with InpO2.

InpO2 ATOM and InpO2 Standard, which are based on the industry standard Adobe Acrobat 8.0.

They will be bundled with some configurations and offered as an option with others, said Dynagram.

David Lewis, the chief executive officer of Lucid Dream Software, commented: "InpO2 fits perfectly within our PDF-based workflow providing customers a scalable and powerful imposition system to meet just about any production need." As one of a number of ways to use Taskforce workflow, customers can print from any postscript application to the Taskforce RIP and produce a trapped PDF that can be imposed in InpO2.

That provides flexibility and ease when printing, whilst allowing customers control over their impositions within InpO2.

Imposed PDFs from OnpO2 can be submitted back to the Taskforce workflow and printed to a variety of supported devices and formats, added Lewis.

Michael Reiher, director of business development and marketing at Dynagram, said: "The Taskforce RIP and workflow system provides a new level of flexibility for customers by making it easy to create production ready PDF files for imposition within InpO2.

Given the scalability of Taskforce with InpO2 imposition, customers will be able to choose the best package for them and we think this is very exciting.".
