Imposition Software Now CIP-4 Certified
Dynagram's InpO2 version 3.0 has been CIP4-certified for the system's interoperability with other JDF-enabled consumers of imposition layouts, such as RIPs and pre-press workflows.
The development is claimed to mean that the JDF imposition file produced by InpO2 can be used by components of the workflow that are based on the JDF technology InpO2 has been tested for conformance to the layout creator to imposition ICS document, using JDF version 1.3

Dynastrip 4.0 Release For Macintosh By Dynagram
A digital imposition specialist Dynagram has developed Dynastrip 4.0 for Apple Macintosh and it is in the final stages of its Beta release period.
Brandon Iskey, the computational research scientist at PIA/GATF, commented : "Inp02 was a very easy program to access and understand.
The layouts were easy to produce and view, whilst the necessary changes can be made on-screen with a click of the mouse.
It is a very nice program." Chantal Lemay, Dyangram's director of research and development, explained: "We were an early adopter and strong believer in the JDF standard.
We are proud to have successfully completed the PIA/GATF certification process to bring InpO2 to the next level in inter-operability conformance.
'During recent years, JDF emerged with a mandate for overall connectivity and automation.
Now that JDF is gaining popularity in real production environments, we realise that the traditional imposition tool is more important than ever to streamline data exchange between processes, whilst keeping complete control over the imposition layout." She added: "For that reason, we are committed to continuing to collaborate with the CIP4 organisation in its JDF effort regarding the imposition process.".
