Digital Information will be presenting its 8Files testform for monitoring the strengths and weaknesses in the workflow and printing.

8Files contains a license for the current Ugra and Fogra chart and it is suited to offset, toner, and inkjet print systems.

8Files consists of eight data files that can be freely combined.

Depending on the printing process they are said to be able to be arranged into the required testform, or output individually on small format systems.

Hence 8Files covers the entire range of printing systems - from an A4 inkjet printer to a large format offset machine.

8Files is also an ideal tool for adjusting existing printing conditions to international printing standards, such as the current ISO version.

With 8Files, testforms consist of several elements that are completely different: image data for visualisation, technical graphs, test charts for optical and metrological control, and much more.

Only when all these components interact properly in can print properly be judged.

According to Digital Information, printing assignments are increasingly distributed to widely different production facilities, which in turn are exposed to widely varying technologies.

Nowadays every printing house wants to know exactly how stable their equipment performance is, and what sort of deviations can occur.

So a testform could be indispensable for examining conditions relevant for production.

With the Ugra and Fogra media strip, which is a basic part of the package, there is a certified test chart at hand.
