Digital Expo Shows Digital Print Developments
Digital Expo will provide visitors with an opportunity to see an array of the latest digital printing technology first hand and working live.
Show organiser, Faversham House Group (FHG) said it has introduced a demonstration trail around the show that will detail exhibiting companies who will be hosting live demonstrations of equipment, materials and software at the show.
Digital Expo will also provide visitors with the opportunity to catch up with advances in Adobe software and to get and inside track on some of its features in the show's free seminar theatres.
FHG said that the sessions have always been popular with their mix of practical advice and training attracting large audiences from all corners of the industry.
This year they will be set to be even more targeted to the needs of print professionals.
A new seminar stream, added for 2007, will shine the light on equipment and business issues.
The short exhibitor-led masterclasses will be held on the show floor, making it easy for visitors to drop in and catch up on the latest developments without taking too much time out of their day at the show, added FHG.
Topics will include harnessing the potential of existing equipment and information about emerging and future markets.
A visit to Digital Expo will also give visitors the perfect opportunity to obtain samples of new materials from many of the industry's leading substrate suppliers.
With well over 200 companies on show, many of whom are using the show to launch new products, a day at Digital Expo can save many weeks of painstaking research, believes the organiser.
FHG added that it will be encouraging exhibitors to provide useful and relevant samples and will highlight exhibiting companies that will be offering this service.
Announcing the new initiatives Digital Expo 2007 exhibition director, Catherine Iredale, said: "All of these new ideas are in response to the feedback from our recent market research.
It is clear that Digital Expo visitors find the show of real benefit in sourcing new materials, equipment and suppliers, so these special features will make this task even easier.
We are also looking at developing more seminar streams and new focus areas over coming months." The shows will feature everything from the most up-to-date digital print technologies for indoor and outdoor usage, through to the latest signs and sign-making techniques.
