Platesetter Accelerates Work With Quick Pay Back
First Impression of Camberwell, London, has installed the first fully automatic Dainippon Screen Platerite 8100 platesetter in the UK in a move from CTF to thermal CTP.
"From our previous experience with Screen equipment we knew we would get good service and support as well as the most affordable package, but the ease of installation and the resultant increase in productivity has been remarkable," he added.
Since 1990, Printhouse Corporation has produced business cards, flyers and leaflets, brochures, postcards, posters and exhibition panels, reports and documents for clients that include one of the leading corporate tax, financial and business management consultants and top travel reservation agencies Sabre and E-bookers.
Tom Clark said the move from CTF to CTP is in line with the Printhouse philosophy of supporting client service with the best technology.
"Compared with using film, the Screen CTP solution is much more efficient, it's better quality and it has all the additional advantages of a much cleaner, closed system - it would be ideal for any medium size printer with B3, B2 or B1 presses looking to upgrade to CTP," commented Clark.
Printhouse Corporation's CTP installation produces about 500 plates per month to supply three presses: a Heidelberg Speedmaster 102 and two Printmaster GTO 52s.
