Screen has released the latest version of its Colorgenius EX image processing software for its Cezanne (FT-S5000) flatbed scanner.

Colorgenius EX v2.05 provides Mac OS X10.3 compatibility and enables Cezanne users to upgrade to the latest operating system for the G5 Macintosh currently being distributed by Apple.

Users of Colorgenius EX versions 2.02 to 2.04 can now download this upgrade for free from the Screen FTP server.

Now both the earlier Cezanne and current Cezanne Elite scanners are Mac OS X compatible enabling novice users to produce quality scans and for the professional user to fine tune to the highest quality claimed Screen.

Whilst retaining the same functionality and specifications of the previous versions, EX features a user interface with a high level of automation to achieve productivity, repeatability and simplicity generating a quality result suitable for commercial printing said Screen.

The software continues to support Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X10.2 operating systems.
