AS Stampline, stamp and signage specialists in Estonia, has invested in Screen's B3 Platerite Micra and Trueflow Rite workflow to expand its printing division to its full potential.

Installed by Graphic Metal, AS Stampline was keen to advance its pre-press workflow and has now taken on more customers as a result.

AS Stampline offers a variety of printing methods, including offset, which brings it a wide range of both local and international customers, including advertising agencies and corporate accounts.

The company said that Screen's reliable service and ease of use of the systems, were main deciding factors behind Stampline's choice of CTP kit and workflow.

Speaking to other users of Screen and seeing it in action at a customer site in Helsinki convinced Stampline that Screen was the right choice.

Tiit Tippel, As Stampline's sales manager commented: "We particularly like the flexibility Screen offers, with the freedom to choose any plate without being tied in to a lengthy consumables contract.

We have found Trueflow Rite easy to use and the most customer friendly workflow available on the market today.

We have only had this system a few months and already we have seen a 10 per cent increase in customers, as a result of our smoother workflow and high quality print results." The violet and compact Platerite Micra offers CTP output at 23 plates an hour, in an affordable, flatbed unit with reasonable initial costs and low maintenance costs.

Capable of imaging a range of photopolymer plates, the Platerite Micra includes in-line punching and is the perfect tool for users of two-page presses who want to enter the CTP market, said Screen.

The autoloader cassette option gives users continual plate feeding, processing up to 50 plates without operator involvement, claimed Screen.

Trueflow Rite, a JDF based entry-level workflow, provides users to automated direct with automated direct to plate production including functions such as JDF-based RIP operation, job ticketing, trapping and imposition, added the company.
