Screen Europe has appointed Tim Taylor as European marketing manager at the company's European headquarters in The Netherlands.

Screen Europe has appointed Tim Taylor as European marketing manager at the company's European headquarters in The Netherlands.

Taylor heads up Screen's marketing team and will spearhead the company's communication strategies throughout Europe Middle East and Africa.

He has been involved with the graphic arts industry for over 20 years including roles as international marketing manager at Linotype Hell (acquired by Heidelberg) and since 1995, as marketing director of Butler and Tanner, one of the UK's largest printing firms.

Taylor commented: "The last 10 years have been a fascinating time to be with Butler and Tanner.

The marketing challenge of moving the company from a book printer to a business that works with many of the world's leading consumer brands has been particularly rewarding.

I am pleased to be joining Screen at what is a very exciting time for the company and for the printing industry as a whole.

Screen has a well-deserved reputation for technological excellence and innovation and is positioned well to deal with the changing nature of the business both in terms of its current workflow, CTP and digital press product range and future projects currently in development." Heavily involved with the development of Butler and Tanner's digital business, Taylor brings experience of the opportunities and challenges of digital printing and data management services to Screen.

"Being part of a team that has developed some of the world's most innovative digital printing projects stands me in good stead for the challenges that lie ahead.

I look forward to working with Screen's distributors and customers and sharing the experiences that I have gained," added Taylor.
