Four companies have been recognised for their commitment and success in selling Screen products and systems by receiving 'Screenie' awards from the company.

The 'Mikado' award for overall international reseller of the year was presented to Printing Systems of Ukraine.

The company's approach has made Screen the market leader in the Ukraine, said the company.

The three 'Shogun' awards went to Koller in Switzerland, Emirates Trans Graphics in the UAE and Sagam in Belgium.

At the awards presentation Brian Forsdike, president of Screen Europe, commended all winners on their achievements.

He said: "The reasons for winning vary from distributor to distributor, however they have all shown an enthusiastic dedication to Screen and the 'Screenie' awards is one way of showing our appreciation." Printing Systems Ukraine and Russia is part of the Datalux group of companies founded two and-a-half years ago to sell Screen systems to the Ukrainian market.

Screen said it is now the market leader in the country and within a year of selling Screen products in Ukraine, Printing Systems started selling Screen products in Russia as well.

The company is now Screen's leading distributor in Russia.

Koller has been Screen's distributor in Switzerland for nearly 10 years.

The company's focus on providing successful systems to their customers backed by with good support and service is now paying dividends, commented Screen.

Last year Koller installed the first Platerite Ultima 36000 in the world with automation and multiple four-page and eight-page CTP systems driven by Screen's Trueflow 3 workflow.

According to Screen, Emirates Trans Graphics has had an impressive sales record in the last financial year with a seven-fold increase on the previous year.

The company has an excellent relationship with Screen UK and its reputation is built on the service it gives to its customers, added the company.

As part of the Sagam Group, Wifac Belgium has been successful in the distribution of Screen products in the Belgian market.

In the last six months the company has focused on the B1 market and sold five of Screen's flagship Platerite 8800 platesetters, one being the first PTR8800Z, which is claimed to be the fastest B1 platesetter available on the market.
