DiMS has been nominated for the award for new innovation at the annual label industry global awards.

It is the second consecutive year that DiMS has been nominated in this category and this year DiMS shares the category with only five other companies worldwide.

The award is for a supplier or converter to the label industry that meets the following selection criteria - it is an innovative and pioneering company, has been instrumental in successfully introducing key new science, product or technology to the label industry and operates with business integrity and is a good employer committed to education, training and staff development.

The company should also be committed to the future development of the label industry whilst being environmentally aware, together with participating in industry association events.

Gerard Marneth, chief executive officer of DiMS, said: "DiMS remains to be the only MIS/ERP vendor ever to have been nominated for this award, which makes this even more meaningful to our organisation.

Clearly, this would never have been accomplished without our customers' support and guidance and we are very grateful for the nomination." The fourth annual awards will be presented at a dinner and awards ceremony on the first evening of Labelexpo Europe, on September 26 in Brussels (Belgium).
