New Event Manager For Digital Show

IIR Exhibitions has appointed Richard Gayle as Event Manager of its London showcase print event, Digital Print World (DPW) 2004.

IIR Exhibitions has appointed Richard Gayle as Event Manager of its London showcase print event, Digital Print World (DPW) 2004.

Responsible for the management of the event, Richard takes over the reins from Louisa Theobald who has moved to head up sales on IPEX.

He brings with him some 10 years experience in the exhibitions industry including spells at both Reed Exhibitions and CMP Information.

He will focus on developing and expanding Digital Print World, which serves the UK's burgeoning digital print market.

Gayle said: "IIR has a reputation for organising top quality, market-leading events.

Following the enormous success of the launch event last year, Digital Print World is properly positioned to grow into a major event for the sector.

I'm looking forward to the challenge of helping to establish DPW as the annual meeting place for the UK's digital printing community." Nicky Mason, IIR's managing director said: "Richard has a wide range of event management experience.

He is a welcome asset to the company and the future development of Digital Print World." Digital Print World 2004 is at Olympia 2 in London (UK) from October 26 until October 28 2004.

This year's event is already claimed to be double in size compared to the previous event.
