Digital Print World's (DPW) appeal this year has been reflected in the high level of companies pre-registering to visit the show in London October 26-28 Being staged at Olympia 2, DPW's organisers IIR believes that the show provides the ideal venue for marketing professionals, brand managers, corporate print users and creative designers to get to grips with the latest developments in pre-press, workflow and design software, digital presses, wide format and inkjet, inks and papers, and finishing equipment

With 5,000 people registered to attend IIR said it anticipates a busy event.

The show is attracting a broad range of companies from across banking, government, national societies, printing, publishing and retail sectors, including Alliance and Leicester, Dixons Store, Elsevier Healthcare, EMI, Headley Brothers, Kall Kwik, L'Oreal UK, Ministry of Defence, Nationwide Building Society, Ordnance Survey, Oxfam, Penguin Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, RR Donnelly, Tesco and The National Trust.

"The digital print industry is moving quickly and we must be able to understand what the equipment does for the printer's business.

By attending shows like Digital Print World I can keep up to date with developing technologies and support some of the suppliers we have trading agreements with " commented Norman Carson, director at Royal Bank of Scotland.

"Digital Print World is the ideal place for keeping up with technology.

As a one stop venue for digital printing technology I can see who and what is new in the market, plus who's supplying and using the products being showcased," added Bob Green from Tesco Marketing Services.

Looking to replace its entire digital print system next year, the DVLA's group manager for print and design, David Morgan explained: "With a complete restructure of our printing technologies ahead of us it is important that we keep up to date with the latest technology.

I believe that Digital Print World is the perfect place for me to get a feel for the marketplace, what it holds and what future developments are in store." Sarah Harvey, head of marketing for Digital Print World commented: "The high level of pre-show registrations is fantastic and we expect a lively event next week.

The interest from such a broad section of the industry shows that we have got the digital recipe just right.".
