Digital Print World (DPW 06), the UK's only dedicated digital print show, has attracted the industry's top finishing suppliers.

Digital Print World (DPW 06), the UK's only dedicated digital print show, has attracted the industry's top finishing suppliers.

This year's show features the strongest line-up to date of finishing systems designed to support a range of digital print applications, said Digital Print world organiser, IIR Exhibitions.

Many exhibitors will be displaying the latest developments in digital technologies.

Last year 40 per cent of exhibitors launched new products at the show and high volumes of new technology will be on display this year, added IIR.

Finishing equipment is a strong element of the show and the range of equipment on display will include punchers, guillotines and trimmers, booklet makers, binders, folders, collators, shredders, laminators and wrappers.

The industry's key finishing suppliers, including first time exhibitors Babs UK and Friedheim, are at DPW 06 and demonstrating the latest techniques.

Other finishing exhibitors include Ark Presentation, Ashgate Automation, D and K Europe, Duplo International, Encore Machinery, GBC Films, Graphic Arts Equipment, Morgana Systems, PDC Presentation Solutions, Renz, Simply Print Finishing and Watkiss Automation Sales.

Peter Morris, managing director of Friedheim International, said: "We now have a selection of equipment that ideally fits with the format of the Digital Print World event and that is the reason behind our decision to exhibit this year.

I'm certain that visitors to our stand who see the machines in operation and appreciate their benefits will also understand this decision." Launch highlights include Ashgate Automation's Crease Matic 150P digital card creaser and the Fastbind Casematic XT hardcover maker, as well as D and K Europe's Jupiter, the new B2 thermal laminator.

At the same time, Encore Machinery will be showing its high speed Pit Stop digital creaser-perforator and GBC Films Group Europe will be highlighting its Digital Lay Flat Film.

Graphic Arts Equipment will be showing its new generation Horizon SPF/FC 200A book production line, Morgana Systems will be demonstrating the KB 2000 perfect binder and PDC Presentation Solutions will be focusing on the Speedcreasa creasing and perforating machine, whilst Watkiss Automation Sales will promote its Powersquare 200 bookletmaking system IIR said that the show is a significant draw for printers, marketing professionals, brand managers and print buyers who are looking for equipment.

At DPW 2005, 80 per cent of visitors said that the show is an ideal place to keep up-to-date with industry trends, added the company.
