Digital Print Show Signs Big Names
London's only showcase event dedicated to the full digital print production process from concept to completion is already attracting major names to its exhibitors' list.
The company claimed that the the entry-level HP R1000 six-colour press, which will also be on show, has been designed for commercial printers, or marketing agencies looking to start offering digital printing services.
Xeretec will be showing Xerox's new Digital Production Press, the Docucolour 8000AP.
The DC8000AP is said to be suitable for commercial printing, data centres, in plant and CRD operations, as well as quick print franchises.
It is claimed to support a range of high-value applications.
Konica Minolta is scheduled to launch a new colour digital printing system as an entry-level addition to the Bizhub Pro range during Digital Print World.
Current models in the Bizhub Pro line-up will also be demonstrated, including the Bizhub Pro C6500e colour digital system.
Canon will demonstrate its portfolio of printing products, with the highlight being the company's Imagepress C7000VP digital colour press.
It is said to provide image quality, consistency and stability at 70 prints per minute on a variety of substrates up to 300gsm.
To demonstrate the productivity of the four-colour Truepress 344 digital offset press, Screen will hold the 'Truepress challenge' at DPW '07.
The challenge will be to produce a litho-quality 500-sheet job in less than 15 minutes, with a five-minute make-ready between jobs.
Danwood Group, Oce and Ricoh will also unveil their latest colour digital print systems at the show, according to the organiser.
