With three confirmed sales of its A-Series continuous ink jet printers and over 900 quality sales leads, Interpack provided a promising outlook for Domino Printing Sciences.

On stand, Domino sold three of its A-Series printers to German companies.

The A300SE, specially developed for use in wet and humid conditions, went to beverage company OEM Ruiz-Cardera and Bittner .

An A300 printer is bound for Baumeister Frischei and Co KG for date coding on eggs and the company's A100 printer for bar coding and date printing on food products was sold to to Rahmer Muhle.

Domino believes that the sales underline the status of the A-Series printer as the world's best-selling continuous ink jet printer with more than 50,000 installations worldwide.

Commented Lee Metters, Domino's sector development director: "The high number of visitors to our stand and serious prospects ranging from companies and OEMs operating in the food and beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors clearly demonstrate the breadth of our service and the versatility of our laser and ink jet printers.

Interpack is a very important show for our coding and marking focus and we were delighted with our incredibly busy stand from day one through to the end.

Our aim is to provide high quality coding and marking technology that suits individual requirements but also responds to common market drivers such as improved quality of bar codes, batch coding and serial numbers.".
