Domino's Inkjet Finds Niche With Software Printer
Beshara Press, the niche printing company for the software publishing industry, has invested in a Domino A400 to produce unique numbers on the back cover of manuals.
Sanderson, who has almost 20 years of experience in human resources, 11 of which have been spent with Domino, will join Domino's senior management team to head up the group's strategic HR programme and drive the management of its global human resources, training and development activities worldwide, said the company.
One of the main objectives in her position is to ensure that the company's 'Domino Effect', which incorporates a series of value statements and strategies outlining the company's culture and attitude to teamwork, is embedded in all HR activities, said Domino.
The programme also covers Domino's commitment to meeting customer needs and developing and caring for its people through reward schemes and celebrating success.
Sanderson commented: "Our employees are key to the company's global success and we invest heavily in training and development to equip people with the right skills, knowledge and expertise to reach our overall business objectives.
Employing high-calibre people on both a national and international basis means that we can lead through innovation and creativity, and as a result, manufacture products according to customers' specific requirements." She continueed: "Domino is known for its high staff retention - more than 25 per cent of our employees have been with us for 10 years or more.
Many people have worked their way up the ladder and achieved senior positions.
In addition, we continuously offer job opportunities within different divisions as well as countries, providing the challenge and empowerment that many of our people seek from Domino." Staff at Domino have also just won a national accolade for People Effectiveness for their contribution to the company's success in the Manufacturing Excellence Award 2005.
